Shadows Fall rocked the house. They were amazing and so much fun! Kelly did a great job. Urgent and Hot Blooded some of my favorites. He was really good and played with the crowd. Kelly was easy to enjoy. Mick was amazing also, but stoic as always! Sure seems like I'm saying "amazing a lot" ;-)
"Well....we missed Night Ranger because of the traffic getting to this place. 2 lane road with bumper to bumper for 1/12 hours. We always leave early, but this was exceptionally backed up. So leave extra early to get there on time. If you're coming from Auburn, Ca take 193.
Foreigner started with my favorite song, Separate Ways. I was running to my seat! Arnel did a great job as lead singer and will continue I'm sure. He sounds so much like Perry, he may be small in stature but let me tell you! what an amazing voice! They did a few of their new songs. One was City of Hope....made me feel it was about Arnel? The new songs were good but not familiar, so not as much fun. Neal was amazing as always. And let me say that Deen had a drum set I have never seen in my whole life....amazing like spun silver! It was truly amazing and so was he! All the guys were!, Ross, Jon etc. Will definitely see them again! Don't Stop Believing was so much fun! Worth any headache from traffic! Loved standing outside the arena listening to the audience singing with the band....gave me chills....still does! I can't believe I didn't get any shots of the rest of the band or Arnel....had to stop dancing and singing to take pictures...oh well...next time!"
